A Wise Man knows HOW to choose his battles.
The current state of manliness is not a good sight and it isn't getting any better. For some weird unmanly reason, Modern Guys believe all the answers lie in a closed palm. That, my friend, is utter nonsense. Here’s exactly what you would achieve from fighting recklessly.

  •      Bruised Face - Not a pretty sight walking around with a Black Eye.
  •      Tooth LossI can't even think of any words that could do justice to this injustice.
  •      Getting Your Ass Kicked – Is it worth it? Really? Is it?
  •      Embarrassment, Pain, Damaged Reputation and so forth.
I think you get the message,
fighting really doesn't have much positives to it However there are those rare odd occasions in which Fighting may be the only solution. It boils down to whether you need to fight or flight and whether or not you're able to make the right choice.

This sounds completely hypocritical but when you hear what I have to say and my reasoning, your mind will be blown away…figuratively now (personal note :Don’t get distracted zak, for gods sake).

First off .

Never fight for superficial Reasons: It’s simply unmanly to pick a fight with someone who mistakenly bumps you or purposefully, in fact, for whatever feeble reason. It’s a silly bump, most of the time that Guy is looking to fight and create a scene to boost his own ego, to gather some attention.

Why? Well because he finds a fake sense of manliness and power by using his fist.

A man of Power and Control is one who can use his words and command authority like none other.

Don’t be pressured by spectators or a crowd pleaser: Often enough, the weak minded flock in to spectate and instigate guys into fights. It happens all the time, none of these guys care about you, they don’t care if you have a family to take care off or a disease for that matter.

They only care about being Entertained. What do you do?

Well, don't entertain such unmanly situations. Walk away – who cares what these strangers think, they won't even remember you after that whereas if you fight you're probably etching yourself into their memory for reasons that have absolutely no merit.

Evaluate The Situation: Be aware of your surroundings, observe this guy’s body language and demeanour.

You'll be able to make out someone who’s Acting macho to impress a group, a guy who is just brutal without much of a brain, dust is collecting in his head, and so on. You get the Point.

Use the situation features to decipher whether this is going to go South or you're in control.
Simply Put : Don't Fight For Silly Reasons!
So you ask, When is it okay to Fight?

Good Question. Coming back to my statement earlier, there are 2 occasions in which you Should Fight and you better do it in a Badass fashion.

You make sure you Fight to Win, be it with words or an un-recommended use of your fists ( Avoid this as much as possible).

1. When Your Dignity is at stake : There comes a time when some dandy face guy may threaten your dignity, try to belittle you and make you feel unworthy of your achievements.

In situations as such : Never let it go. If you do, you’ll later regret not having your say and the regret will eat at you. His actions and words will play in your head whereas if you have your say and defend your dignity, no matter the results, you stood up for yourself and that is MANLY.

That is worthy of Respect!

2. Protecting Those You Care About : I don't care if the Guy is Mahatma Gandhi’s great grandson (No disrespect to Mahatma Gandhi-Great Man), if he’s threatening, abusing or treating someone you love like trash, you unload a can of whip ass.

Don't ever let anyone walk all over the people you love, be prepared to fight a Bear if you must, you do it! Why? Because that’s what a Man would do, Period!

I hope at this point you're well aware of when is Manly to Fight (It’s only 2 reason for crying out loud,c'mon! haha).

It’s very much a case of being Man enough to choose when to walk away and when to fight. Usually, we choose to fight and USUALLY it’s the dumb choice.

Be wise, Be Suave and Be like a Cheetah – know when to pounce!

Catch you Next Manly Time for an article pumped with suave-ness (wink wink….uh I mean - Fistbump).
